Rule 81

The owner of a motor vehicle shall if he fails to make an application under sub section 13 of section 41, sub section 1 of section 47 or sub section 5 of section 50 within the period specified in rule 54 of the central rules be liable to pay the following amount in addition to the fee specified for registration mark or Transfer of Ownership of Vehicle under Rule 81 of the Central Rules if the same has not already been paid namely: Period of Delay For the vehicle other than For Transport vehicle Transport vehicle (in Rupees) (in Rupees) (i) not exceeding 3 months Ten Twenty (ii) exceeding 3 months not more than 6 months Twenty Forty (iii) exceeding 6 months not more than 1 year Thirty Sixty Five (iv) exceeding one year not more than 2 years Forty Eighty (v) exceeding 2 years Fifty One Hundred
